Keiji Takeuchi

Born in Japan in 1977, Milan-based Keiji Takeuchi graduated with a bachelor in product design in New Zealand where he moved when he was only 15 years old and he also did his scholar study at ENSCI / Les Ateliers in Paris during 1999. He worked for Naoto Fukasawa in Tokyo for 7 years and in 2012 he moved to Milan and set up Fukasawa’s European satellite office. In 2014, Takeuchi started freelancing while managing Fukasawa’s Milano office and in late 2015 he established his own studio. In the following year he was awarded as a Young Japanese talent by Elle Decor Japan ( EDIDA). His washbasin design for Boffi also received “Best in bathroom” by Elle Deco Japan ( EDIDA) in 2018. Today Takeuchi is collaborating with variety of international brands such as Boffi, De Padova, Living Divani, Hermanmiller/Geiger, By-Interiors, Ichendorf and many others.
