Wă

Inspired by the designer Federica Biasi’s memories of travels in Asia, Wă evokes rural villages where the rooftops of houses are covered in thousands of terracotta tiles, layered and stacked atop one another in intricate, interlocking formation inherited from ancient Chinese techniques. The designer translated her impressions of these ancient patterns into a design structure, giving rise to the Wă collection. Wă is a collection with an architectural character. The engraved design defines a controlled module, capable of combining structure, decoration, and rigor.
